There are several hundred newcomers who decide to move to Saintes every year. Every September, at the end of the month, the Mayor of Saintes and the town councillors are pleased to meet the newcomers at a reception held in the Town Hall.

It is an opportunity to get to know you and present the Town and its future projects. Everyone receives the keys to the town in the shape of a passport which gives them free access to the town’s many treasures: an exceptional architectural and cultural heritage, places of entertainment, pleasant walks, cultural and sporting activities for everyone. If you can’t attend the reception, don’t hesitate to ask for a passport.
